SALT Steering

A dedicated group of people from diverse agencies, organizations and backgrounds that ensure SALT is engaging in activities, strategies and initiatives that align with its mission. In other words, they help ‘steer’ the organization in the right direction. If you are interested in joining one of our monthly SALT meetings, please contact us.

Committee for Equity & Justice (CEJ)

The mission of CEJ is to advocate for and support the advancement of equity and justice for all members of the Sullivan County community. This is accomplished with an open heart through speaking up and showing up. CEJ engages in dialogue, community events, championing of fair legislation, and community activism. Through the empowerment and recognition of all residents, CEJ is committed to foster a climate of inclusion and equity.

Outreach Committee

By establishing one-on-one relationships SALT learns about the community by engaging with individuals, sharing information about services and available resources.

Prevention and Risk Factors Committee

This committee creates opportunities for local youth in order to encourage healthy, positive decisions.

Public Relations

This committee manages SALT’s media presence and solicits, seeks and develops pertinent content.
