We are seeking youth, 13-18 years old, that want to participate in a New York State TikTok talent show preventing substance use by offering alternative recreational local activities. $1,000 Top Prize with many offerings for runners up including a Sullivan 180 Scholarship for Extracurricular Activity at $500!
All talents are welcome & must be in video form! No experience necessary, just passion.
Starting Jul 1, Submit to IG, FB, TikTok you MUST hashtag #nytakesovertiktok. If you live in Sullivan County, also use #saltdfctiktok to win the local prizes.
Voting will begin August 20th on TikTok with a Winner announced August 27th!

Last day to enter is August 15 at Midnight

STEP 1: KNOW THE RULES OR YOU’LL GET SHADOWBANNED
- Must be between 13 & 18 and live in New York
- No Swearing
- No Violence
- No Drug use or drug references
- No Explicit Content (Leave the thirst traps for another time)
- Must have Legal Guardians Permission to Enter the Contest
STEP 2: ENTER THE CONTEST
- Fill out the Entry Form under the Coalition that is closest to you by Town/Region
- That Coalition will receive and review your video to approve it
- Once approved we will share your video on that Coalition’s TikTok page
- (Don’t worry we will email you to let you know it was approved with the TikTok page it’s on
- YOU MUST FOLLOW THAT COALITION’S TIKTOK PAGE TO WIN: saltcares
STEP 3: GET PEOPLE TO VOTE (LIKE) YOUR VIDEO
- Get your friends to “Like”, “Share” your video to get as many “Likes” as possible
- 1 – “LIKE” = 1 – “VOTE”
- GET THE MOST VOTES, GET THE $1,000 CASH PRIZE ON AUGUST 27th
